about me

Born in Schenectady, NY and later moving to Southern CA, Jesse spent most of his life growing up in the "OC". As a kid he had aspirations of becoming a Paleontologist, mostly in part because it gave him an excuse to play with Dinosaurs and in the dirt.

Eventually, Jesse's life long dream of becoming "Ross Geller" took a dramatic turn when he worked backstage on the musical Sunday in the Park with George at his high school. He was immediately taken in by the life of the theatre and soon auditioned for the next show at his high school, Little Shop of Horrors. For the first time in his life he got to sing, dance, and act in front of a live audience.

His first professional show was that of the role of The Artful Dodger in Oliver! at the critically acclaimed Laguna Moulton Playhouse and from there Jesse's career began to grow. He would later attend California State University, Fullerton where he would receive his BA in Musical Theatre as well as working on a new production of Hair produced by original Broadway Producer Michael Butler for the 1996 Democratic Convention in the role of Woof.

Later he would spend a few years working at "The Happiest Place on Earth", Disneyland, in numerous stage shows and events alongside such future Broadway stars as Eden Espinosa and Stephanie Block.

It was during his time at Disneyland that Jesse auditioned for the European tour of Grease, directed by notable West End Director David Gilmore and Melissa Williams & Carla Kama (who are choreographers for international music sensation Prince), which ended up taking him on a short detour throughout Europe, Asia, and Africa before making the big move to NYC. During his time at "Rydell High" Jesse would go from being in the ensemble to playing the roles of Eugene, Roger, Vince Fontaine, and finally Danny Zuko as well as being the dance captain in which he helped set numerous productions around Europe.

After traveling abroad with the "Greasers" Jesse finally made the big move to NYC where he continued to study in his field and working his way to one day fulfilling his dreams of being on Broadway. For more than a decade Jesse has been residing in NYC where he has had the privilege to travel the world and work alongside some of the top people in his industry including Matthew Bourne, Trevor Nunn, Andy Blankenbeuhler, Lara Teeter, Michael Butler, Joey McKneely, George Faison, Leslie Uggams, and the illustrious Cameron Mackintosh for which he currently works with on the Broadway production of Mary Poppins. He is also the proud dad of a rescue dog, and encourages everyone to open their homes to a four-legged friend.
